New Artist's Statement--Landscape Paintings in a Gainesville, Florida Shop

Tomorrow, we will deliver a collection of eight landscape paintings to Paddiwhack, a delightful shop in Gainesville, Florida. I have been working hard to prepare the pieces for the exhibit; they will hang in a featured nook in the front of the store for six weeks. Two new publicity pieces are also ready, a flyer for people to pick up, which I will show you in the next post, and this framed artist's statement. You should be able to click on it to make it larger.

  3. Thank you, Sherry; you are amazingly supportive. And once the Paddiwhack owner had hung the pieces, I was impressed myself with how nice they looked :>). I do not see them in the same context at home.

Anne, you would LOVE this shop. I know Gainesville is not around the corner, but Paddiwhack is definitely worth the drive--not to mention the incredible food at The Flying Biscuit in the same strip mall.

  4. Congratulations. I know how much work it takes to put these things together (and pull them off). I wish you much success with the show (though creating it is the biggest success.) Love the statement (truthful and seemingly effortless) and the painting you chose (the depth, the perspective.) An inspiration!
